Lounais-Suomen Jätehuolto Oy (LSJH) is a company owned by 18 municipalities in southwest Finland. Searching for and utilizing new innovations is part of LSJH's circular economy work.
On behalf of these municipalities, LSJH takes care of organizing the 450 000 inhabitants waste management and guidance on sustainable lifestyle. LSJH utilizes a staggering 98% of the waste received as materials and energy.
The circular economy centre of Topinpuisto is a district located along the E18 road but also a business cooperation network coordinated by LSJH. The network cooperation is structured around the utilization of material, water and energy flows and the development of services.
Topinpuisto's network is linked as part of national and international cooperation. The network includes circular economy experts, companies, startups, business accelerators, universities, and public actors.
